Challenge:
The community room of this historic building was dull, lifeless, and only partially functional for residents, staff, and volunteers.
Solution:
To draw out the beauty of this elegant space, I chose paint colors, furnishings, and artwork to complement the high ceiling, crown molding, and large windows. I also updated the small service kitchen to be more functional.
Results:
Residents love drinking their coffee as morning light floods this now cheerful room. The service group that comes weekly to prepare and serve breakfast to the special-needs residents is thrilled to have kitchen cabinets that work and doors that close.
